Placenta
Encapsulation
$350
Many families choose placenta encapsulation as part of their postpartum recovery.
Some commonly reported benefits include supporting postpartum mood and emotional well-being, promoting energy during the early postpartum period, supporting healthy iron levels, encouraging milk production, and supporting the body's natural postpartum recovery though every postpartum experience is unique, and individual results may vary.
The Encapsulation Process
Your placenta is handled with the highest standards of safety and care. I follow OSHA sanitation guidelines throughout the entire process, and I'm happy to discuss my protocols with you before you book.
After pickup, your placenta is carefully rinsed, steamed, sliced, and dehydrated at a controlled temperature before being ground into a fine powder and placed into capsules. Every placenta is prepared individually in a sanitized, dedicated workspace to prevent cross-contamination.
My goal is to return your capsules to you as quickly as possible, typically within three days of your baby's birth so you can begin using them during your postpartum recovery.
